Meet their Vikings and see, hear and even smell what life was like during that period at JORVIK Viking Centre. If you have younger children then let them become mini archaelogists at DIG. They can handle artefacts and explore our dig pits. Barley Hall is our medeavel townhouse, which currently has our Shakespearean exhibition - The Bard at Barley Hall. In the exhibition you can see contumes worn by actors such as Al Pacino and Kate Winslet as well as create your own play in our shadown puppet theatre. Finally discover, explore and experience Micklegate Bar – one of the historic gateways to the city of York.
